Special People of VSD #1: Mary Murray

This is the first of many blogs recongizing Special People of VSD, who have created a impact on me during my years at VSD. The Blogs are NOT in a ranking order of popualarity or favoritism of any sort. The purpose of this series is to recongize people.
Mary Murray, Who is the Director of Student Life at my beloved school. I want to tell you about her. She is one of the most wonderful person at VSDB. She is under constant pressure to ensure the students' residental life are pleasant and as homely as much as possible. She does a lot for VSDB. She always loves to chat with all of her students, from all type of backgrounds. I have always found her in the office with the door wide open. I recall during the first few years, I did not like her because of what I was told, but as I found out the actual truth, I started enjoying interacting with her. I have learned al ot from my interactions with her. We also have one thing in common: We both are Chocolohics! When I graduate from VSD, I can tell you, she will be greatly missed! Thanks for all the great times!

Time Waits for No One

"There is never enough time to do everything, but there is always enough time to do the most important thing." -- Brian Tracy
With 11 days left, before I go back to my beloved school, for the final year. I look back to many fond memories of my years there. I realize that Time can either be your friend or your foe. I am filled with a mixture of prickling sadness and inspiring joy. I feel the prickling sadness because I know, that time will come soon enough to let go of everything I know and love. I feel the inspiring joy because I know there are many challenges and opporunties waiting for me out and knowing that there a group of people who are rooting for me and I cannot let them down. I will have only 179 days to laugh, cry, learn, experience, and to create memories before I say farewell to my beloved alma mater, or as I like to call it, my home.
I will begin a series of blog on how people at VSD impacted me during my years at VSD.I will write a series of blogs called "Memories from the Cardinal's Nest" I hope you will enjoy my series.
