My Class Ring

As Promised, I am going to describe my class ring and the reasons behind those symbols placed on my ring. On the top is a beautiful garnet stone with a sunburst cut. The reason I had choen sunburst was to remind me that life can be explosive and exciting! My school's name proudly encircles the stone!
On one side there is a cardinal, as I have mentioned before, is VSD's mascot with my graduation year embossed above it On the other side MICHAEL is printed across the top with picture of a sunrise in a range of mountains. That picture will remind me of what I have enjoyed waking up to every day while at VSD. I always loved the beautiful sunrises in the Shenandoah Mountains, and below the picture is a inscription that says BRIGHT FUTURE AHEAD! Many people have told me that. So Why not put it to remind me that many people are rallying for me to succeed! Inside the ring is a inscription that says 'Follow Your Heart", I chose that for very personal reasons.

ACCEPTED!

As you probably can infer from the headline, I got the words I have been waiting for since forever! I got it around 1:58 pm today! I was nervous as I clicked on the email, upon opening the email, I slowly scrolled, I did not finish the first sentence, As soon I read the fourth word in the sentence, I nearly went wild and LITERALLY jumped out of my seat! I yelled then signed ACCEPTED! The kids nearly went wild! I emailed everyone that I knew at VSD, and IMed and texted old friends and they replied with a wave of congratulations while I was figuring out how to break the momentous news to my families!
First, My mom got online, I emailed her the same email that I got! She flipped out and flat out called my grandma right away!
I got off the bus and showed my father the email, he became thrilled as soon he read the letter throughly! He called my grandparents, (who he knew was one of the most important people in my life) and told that they needed to meet us at my house. They did, I showed them the email, my grandmother, who had just gotten out of the hospital, was beaming, and said my grandson, accepted! My grandpa did just exactly the same, ( I will never forget the way my grandma looked when she read the letter, that memory will always mean a lot to me). I owe the fact that I was accepted to many people, and I cannot believe that I actually got accepted in my dream university!
