Whoa! I cannot believe time flies so fast... It seems like yesterday I was leaving school to meet the warm rays of the sun that I was longing for.. Already its only 7 weeks before I return to school as a senior.. My thoughts start to shift in a new direction due to excess time on my hands.... I start pondering this question " What does it really mean to be a senior?" and I reflect on my past mistakes I made.. Some with regret and some with laughter.. I will post my answer to the question stated in the next blog.
When I got my class ring (more details about it later) I begun thinking and realizing that it was my last year, my final chance to do what I have always wanted to do.. I realized that the past three years I have been too focused on the serious things and not really having fun. I decided to let things slide on their own. ( My grades is a exception to that sliding thing). I want to have fun this year. After all , A senior gotta have his share of fun? Correct me, if I am wrong!
I also realized that I have to follow my heart, and not give up on my dreams, my passions, which I have neglected in the past three years. It has cost me dearly but I hope to make big strides to make up for it!
This is the beginning of a series of exciting blogs that will document my senior year, its ups and down, my experiences as a senior, my graduation, and my transition to Gallaudet University, where I will also write about my first year there here too!
