What does it really mean to be a senior?

In my Earlier blog, "My Thoughts as a Rising Senior", I posed the question. Here is my answer as promised.
My answer to this question will change during my senior year. I will answer what I THINK it means to be a senior, because I am not exactly there yet.
I think it means, time to wake up, and be serious. It's only a matter of time before I get thrown out of my security and comfort zones. (I am already freaked out thinking about that!) It's also excited because I, along with my class, will be at the top, but then everyone will stare at us, waiting for our move. I hope I can be a better role model this year. I have to start really thinking clearly about four extremely important things which are : my choices, actions, my present and my future. As my friend who is a former principal at my school, quoted Descartes, "Cogito, Ergo Sum" which translates in "I think, therefore I am"
I realized that during this year, I will turn eighteen, and with that comes great powers, but I am reminded of what Ben Parker (Peter Parker's uncle) said, "With power, comes great responsibilities"
Like other seniors, I have one thing on my mind, Graduation! My family, and friends can tell how over the top I am about graduating! I am literally counting down to the day! ( see the countdown!) I will post 3 blogs on the weeks before graduation and one after.
